Our trip to Provence

We were lucky enough to be able to explore provence and its lavender fields, whilst we were touring this area, we found the heat, especially in the camper unbearable. So Steve removed the rear roof vent and fitted a maxi-vent, which has been fantastic, very efficient and essential for a good nights sleep. We managed to camp overnite at a lavender farm, absolutely beautiful, surrounded by the smell of lavender and the sounds of the bees

We also visited the various beautiful waterfalls in the area. Stayed in a beautiful village called Alzon, with narrow streets and very old architecture. The campervan aire was right in the heart of the village, a short walk to the local village shop, which seemed to sell everything, as well as tokens for the machine in the aire. Toilets were available in the aire.
